Tres Puentes

Nestled in the heart of Coral Gables, Tres Puentes stands as one of the city’s earliest residences — a graceful reminder of its architectural origins. This project reimagines the historic home’s landscape with quiet elegance, inviting a dialogue between past and present.

The journey begins in an expansive entry courtyard, where a gentle water feature and slender runnel draw the eye outward, guiding movement and reflection toward the garden. Here, water becomes a thread, stitching together architecture and earth with a sense of calm continuity.

In the rear garden, the land itself was lifted — subtly and purposefully — to bring the indoors and outdoors into conversation. The elevated grade allows the house to spill into the landscape, opening to wide, uninterrupted views of the Biltmore Golf Course. A Mediterranean-inspired pool anchors the space, framed by soft plantings and golden light, offering a serene retreat that blurs the line between cultivated design and natural beauty.
