Ocean Terrace is an iconic beachfront park revitalizing public space along a former boulevard used for beach vehicular parking. This design seamlessly blends Miami Beach's natural environment with its vibrant urban backdrop.
The project restores nature to an area formerly dominated by asphalt through thoughtfully integrated water features that serve as destination points and gateways to lush lawn areas. Shade trees are strategically positioned to provide shelter and comfort for pedestrians, creating inviting gathering spaces.
Ocean Terrace Park celebrates the unique coastal environment by blurring the boundaries between urban life and nature, resulting in an authentic, environmentally sensitive public space that enhances the community's connection to the beach and city.
